Who will be the new coach of Broncos?

On this Monday, officials of Denver Broncos have just decided to sack their first-year head coach Nathaniel Hackett. The decision came as a fast follow up to the team’s humiliating defeat against the Los Angeles Rams on Christmas Day.

Greg Penner, the owner of Broncos asserted in a statement that the timing of this decision will allow their franchise to achieve a jump start on the new head coach search. During the discussion George Paton, general manager of Broncos was also present. He indicated that experience will be a plus but not a requirement in the new coach hunt.

This season was already an embarrassing one for the Denver football team with 4-10 record. During the AFC West side’s final match against the Rams, the team decided to go with two defensive expert Vance Joseph and Vic Fangio. This decision played out negatively as the Broncos faced an embarrassing loss of 51-14.

There have been some major speculations about the upcoming head coach hunt already. As fans are asking if the management will be again reaching for a young offensive coordinator or look out for a seasoned on with defensive expertise.

Which makes him an interesting option for Denver.

The former Houston Texans linebacker led the 49ers to be the leading team of NFL’s defense standings this season with allowing only 15.3 points per game. If the Broncos officials want to change their gameplan to be more defensive, Ryans will definitely serve as a great pick.

Team: Philadelphia Eagles

Shane Steichen has been the offensive coordinator for Philadelphia Eagles for two seasons already. His team is currently sitting in 3rd position of NFL’s offence standings. With head coach Nick Sirianni, he brings the most out of the flying Eagles’ talent. Thanks to his guidance, the Eagles have a strong 13-2 record and leading NFC East standings. Which makes him an excellent choice for Broncos’ vacant position.

  1. Frank Reich

Team: Indianapolis Colts (former)

Fran Reich is the former Indianapolis Colts head coach. In five seasons there, he racked up a 40-33-1 record.
