Adelaide International is a professional tennis tournament held in Australia. Since it’s debut in 2020, the event has been running every January for a week. The South Australian event became a part of both ATP and WTA Tour.
The 2023 Adelaide International will be a two-part event. The upcoming 2023 WTA Adelaide International 1 will be the third iteration of the ATP Tour 250 and WTA 500 events. Following this, the 2023 Adelaide International Tour will be held as part of the ATP Tour 250 and WTA 250. Adelaide International 1 will feature the following tournaments in the upcoming iteration –

Upcoming Adelaide International 1 will feature 8 professional tennis players from ATP and WTA top 20 as the top seeds. This event’s seed list will be led by the Serbian tennis star, Novak Djokovic. Ranked 5th worldwide, Djokovic bagged 5 titles last year. He had a 85.7% win ratio with 42-7 record. The 35 years old professional also won the Wimbledon and Tour Finals last year.
In the second position of seed list in Adelaide is Canadian player Felix Auger-Aliassime. The 22-year-old young professional reached earned 4 titles and also achieved his career 150th win last year. Last year’s Davis Cup was his first win for the Canadian team.
Daniil Medvedev is the 3rd seed in the upcoming Australian event. The presently ranked 7th in ATP worldwide standings reached his career highest 1st position last year. He bagged his career 250th win along with career 15th title. At the Vienna Open 2022, he upset Denis Shapovalov to win his career second ATP 500 title.
