The LPGA tour is break after a break of almost 2 weeks, as the Lotte Championship will be starting on April 12 in Hawaii. The purse for this year’s edition has already been announced and will be same as the last year’s tournament.
The Lotte Championship 2023 will feature the best LPGA players in the world. While most of the male golfers were busy in the Masters, the females were taking their final preparation for the Lotte.
Defending Champion Hyo Joo Kim is the top favorite, she has every chance to retain her title this year. There will be other LPGA stars like Georgia Hall, Celine Boutier, and many more to challenge her.
This year, the prize money for the tournament will be $2 million. This is the same as the 2022 edition. The winner of the tournament gets $300,000 like last year. The winner’s share is 15% of the total payout. The salaries of the runners-up and other positions are expected to be the same as in 2022.
