What changes is the upcoming Valorant patch 5.03 bringing?

Valorant patch 5.03 is expected to be out on August 9. The upcoming update will mainly nerf all of Chamber’s abilities. The deadly Tour De Force will function more like a regular operator rather than being a one-shot killer on any part of the body.

Previously. Apart from it, the upcoming Valorant patch 5.03 will review the aiming with some particular ultimates which is another little yet substantial change.

The ultimates of Chamber, Jett, and Neon will be more precise. Damage usually varies depending on body parts where it is shot in case of the same weapon. The damage multiplier for shots at the opponent’s legs will be minimized.

So, now you have to keep in mind that a shot at the legs might not secure an instant kill. Let’s look more into the changes that were implemented in the latest Public Beta Environment (PBE) for the upcoming patch 5.03:

Neon:

Neon will have notable changes particularly. Her ultimate will register headshot damage now while there was no incentive for it previously.

  • Damage per shot reduced from 22 to 18
  • Killzone increased from 15m to 20m
  • Leg shot multiplier reduced from 1.0 to 0.85
  • Headshot multiplier increased from 1 to 3

Chamber:

  • Tour De Force (X) leg shot multiplier reduced from 1.0 to 0.85
