The PGL Arlington Dota Major 2022 playoffs will start on Tuesday (August 9) and run till August 14. The group stage just ended, offering a bunch of thrilling moments to the fans. 12 teams have been determined for the playoffs.
Talon Esports, Thunder Awaken, Soniqs, Natus Vincere, and Tundra Esports are among the eliminated teams. Eight teams have been seeded into the upper bracket leaving the rest four into the lower bracket.
Chinese squad PSG.LGD was the most favorite team of the tournament. The team finished with a 15-1 record in Group A and earned an upper bracket slot in the playoffs alongside Outsiders, OG, Fnatic.
Team Aster grabbed attention in Group B and finished on top with a 10-4 record. The Chinese team is accompanied by Entity, Team Spirit, and BOOM Esports in the upper bracket. Royal Never Give Up, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, and Beast Coast are the four teams in the lower bracket.
A total prize pool of $500,000 USD and 3,530 DPC points will be divided amongst the 14 teams. The winner will receive $200,000 USD, being 40% of the total prize pool and 680 DPC points.
