Apart from being a Marvel actor, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu appeared as a pro Valorant gamer. The Canadian actor surprised netizens with a clip of his ace this Monday.
In the clip which he uploaded on Twitter, he is seen securing an ace of Fracture using Jett with a Spectre. Liu is in an unfavorable situation on Fracture there. The clip clearly shows that he doesn’t need the power of the mystical rings to destroy the opposition. He had to retake the B-site on Fracture in a 4v5 situation against the enemy team.
In the nail-biting scenario, ‘theshangchi’ kept his nerves calm. First of all, he climbed the B-Tower through ropes and approached the site. While climbing, he secured two quick kills on Neon and Fade. Passing through B-Tower, he anticipated his enemy Raze and killed him on the spot. Then he reached the site and destroyed the last two enemies, Reyna and Omen. Omen had been guarding the spike.
As the clip went viral on social media platforms, this might be the start of Simu as a Valorant streamer. Jake Howlett, Fnatic’s in-game leader, replied to the tweet offering the Marvel star a pro player contract. Liu later admitted that he enjoyed the game and had watched the ace clip several times.
Simu Liu will appear on the big screen soon in the upcoming Barbie movie alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as co-actors.
