The 2022 DP World Tour season is coming to an end with the initiation of upcoming DP World Tour Championship 2022. The European Tour finale event is ready to be held this Wednesday, November 16.

The DP World Tour Championship is the annual season-ending championship event of the DP World Tour or better known as European Tour. The event made its debut in 2009 under the title “Dubai World Championship”.
Every year, the DP World Tour Championship is held in Dubai. The five-day event is played in a stroke format over 72 par. The championship is sponsored by Rolex.
Previously in 2019, Collin Morikawa won the championship. Scoring 271 in total, he upset both Alexander Bjork and Matt Fitzpatrick via 3 strokes. However, the defending championship withdrew from the upcoming edition of the event.
This year will mark the 14th official iteration of the DP World Tour Championship. It will feature a $10 million purse pool with a $3 million winner’s share. A total of 50 players will be participating in the event.

The DP World Tour Championship 2022 will be participated by a total of 50 players. Players will be divided into groups of two to tee off and compete together during the initial 2 rounds. All of the twenty-five groups will start from hole one.
The first group consisting Paul Waring and Haotong Li will tee off tomorrow at 11:35 p.m. ET. There will be a ten-minute gap between each group’s tee off time.
