The event launched in 1899 is currently considered the oldest badminton tournament under the BWF. The upcoming All England Open 2023 or officially titled Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2023 will mark the 115th anniversary of the event.

The event will host singles and doubles competitions for both men’s and women’s disciplines, along with mixed doubles. Title defenders and current singles lead, Viktor Axelsen and Akane Yamaguchi will be the leading seed of their respective discipline in the event.

The upcoming All England Open will initiate on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. It will run for 6 days. The event is featuring a $1.25 million prize pool along with additional BWF ranking points for all participants.
