The upcoming Cage Warriors 145 is a highly anticipated title unification event. Featherweight division fighters Jordan Vucenic and Paul Hugest are going to face each other under the main card of the upcoming event in order to unify the current championship and interim championship title.
This isn’t the fight face-off between these two, as they have previously faced once before in 2020. In the match of Cage Warriors 119 event, both fighters fought for 3 complete rounds with the English Vucenic coming winner via split decision.
Jordan “The Epidemic” Vucenic is an English fighter from the Blood Sweet and Tears association. He currently holds a career record of 9-1. This year he had one fight, against another English fighter, James Hendin. Vucenic successfully won the but with a Submission win from a rear-naked choke. Previously, he won the CW featherweight champion title from Paul Hughes in 2020.
Paul Hughes is the current interim CW featherweight champion from Australia. He holds a career record of 8-1. This year, he won a bout against the French “Last Pirate” Charriere and snatched the interim CW featherweight title. Before that, he defeated the English fighter, James Hendin via unanimous decision.
In addition to the high voltage title unification main card, the event features 4 more main card bouts and 5 additional preliminary card fights. The co-main fight features, a welterweight division bout between James Sheehan and Jamie Richardson.
