In the upcoming Showtime PPV boxing event, Gervonta Davis will defend his title against Hector Garcia this Sunday in Washington D.C.

Davis vs Garcia is the latest PPV boxing event announced by the TGB Promotions. This Showtime exclusive event is set to feature 13 professional bouts. Among these, 5 will be under the main cards, while the rest of 8 will be featured in preliminary.
The PPV event will feature two title bouts. The main card feature event will see American titleholder Gervonta Davis fighting the Dominican professional Hector Garcia. While the co-main event will feature Jaron Ennis and Karen Chukhadzhyan for the Interim IBF World Welterweight title. A female boxing bout will also be featured under the prelim card of the event. There Mia Ellis and Karen Dulin will be fighting against each other.
This upcoming bout will be Davis’ 3rd title defense bout for the WBA Regular Lightweight title. While Garcia will make his lightweight class debut with this title challenge fight. Additionally, the fight will be the first time Davis and Garcia will be fighting one-another inside a boxing ring.
Gervonta Davis is the American undefeated Lightweight champion with a 27 consecutive win record. Following his acquirement of the title in 2021, Davis successfully defended it twice within last two years. While his Puerto Rican opponent, Hector Luis Garcia has a 16-0-win record with 3 no contests. Among these, he acquired 10 wins by knockouts. Last year, Garcia won the WBA super featherweight title in August.
