One of the biggest crossover boxing events of the year, KSI vs Swarmz and Pineda, is about to go down at the O2 Arena in London, England, on August 27. Here is all you need to know about what is now announced as the KSI vs Swarmz and Pineda “2 Fights 1 Night”.
Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji, popularly known as KSI, had his first professional boxing event in late 2019 when he fought Logan Paul at the Staples Center in LA. Before that, the 29-year-old was twice part of a white-collar boxing event. Once in 2017 against Joe Weller, and then in 2018 for his first fight against Logan Paul.
For the last three years, KSI has put his boxing career on hold to focus on his music career. Since the beginning of 2022, he has been hinting at his comeback to the ring. Finally, in June 2022, the Brit announced he will be fighting Alex Wassabi on August 27.
However, after Wassabi pulled out of the fight due to injury, he was replaced by British Musician Swarmz. Later, in another announcement, KSI revealed his second opponent of the same night, Luis Alcaraz Pineda. Pineda came as a last-minute replacement following the forced pull out of Ukrainian boxer Nikolov due to his neo-nazi stance.
Other than the 2 KSI fights, the event consists of 6 more exciting bouts. The co-main event of the night has a lot of eyes on it as two famous Internet personalities, FaZe Temperrr and Slim Albaher, are ready to put on a show for their fans. KSI’s younger brother, Deji, is also fighting in the undercard against Fouseytube.
KSI vs Swarmz and Pineda Start Time:

KSI vs Swarmz and Pineda is scheduled to start at 02:00 p.m. ET. KSI is set to fight Swarmz as the opener of the fight card. Unless KSI is deemed unfit by the doctors after his first fight, he will be facing Pineda for the main event of the night. The ring walks of the main event are expected to start at around 5:25 p.m. ET.
