The 20th year of Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki is opening with the upcoming event featuring a bout between Michal Materla and Kendall Grove in the KSW 78

KSW 78 is the upcoming 2023 calendar opening event of Polish mixed martial arts promotion “Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki.” The event featuring 9 bouts is scheduled for this Saturday in Szczecin, Poland.
In the upcoming KSW event, there will be 9 main card fights and two preliminary bouts. The title bout will feature Michal Materla and Kendall Groove. They have previously fought once in 2013. There Materla took the win from unanimous decision.
In addition to the exciting main fight, the event will also feature a highly anticipated middleweight bout between two Eastern European professionals. Tomasz Romanowski will face Radoslaw Paczuski under the co-main event card. This will be their first face off against each other.
Michal “Capio” Materla is the Polish MMA professional. He is currently ranked 2nd in both Polish and Europe Eastern pro heavyweights. Materla has a professional record of 31 wins and 9 losses. He participated in KSW 66 and 70 last year. Materla defeated Jason Radcliffe in January. But later in May, he lost to Mariusz Pudzianowski.
Kendal Grove is an MMA professional from America. Known by the ring-name “Da Spyder”, he has a pro record of 24 wins to 18 losses. Grove last fought against Hector Lombard and lost via TKO in 2020. A year before that, he lost to Felipe Fogolin via choke. Grove’s last win was against Anthony Ruiz in August of 2019.
