The American mixed martial art scene is getting another thrilling event only one month after the Gafurov vs Silva bout in LFA 146

The Legacy Fighting Alliance is a recently created American mixed martial arts promotion. Launching in 2017, the event quickly found its footing with some prominent MMA athletes under its belt. As a result, the event already hosted a total of 144 fights within a span of 5 years.
In the latest LFA 145, fans are expected to see a high-voltage bout between two popular Brazilian mixed martial artists, Marcio “Ticoto” Barbosa and Gabriel “Mosquitinho” Santos. This will be their first event official bout against each other in the professional ring.
Marcio Dos Santos Barbosa currently holds a record of 13-1 in the bantamweight class. He had 3 fights this year, all of which he successfully won. Against Kevin Moreyra and Ciao Machado, he won via Knockout, while in the JF 107, he defeated Tiago Terra Nova via submission.
Gabriel Santos is a flyweight fighter with an undefeated record of 8-0. Last year he fought Elvis Silva in a 3-round bout and won via unanimous decision. Before that, he faced Elvis Oliveira in 2020. Santos also won that 3-round fight via unanimous decision. In 2019, he faced Lucas Nunes and won the fight from a rear-naked choke submission.
In addition to the high voltage title unification main card, the event features 12 more MMA bouts. These are a co-main event, 4 more main card bouts, and 7 additional preliminary card fights. The co-main event is a lightweight bout featuring two Brazilians, Flepe Douglas, and Rangel de Sa.
