Two popular Brazilian lightweight mixed martial artist Junior Melo and Melquizael Costa are going to face each other on the upcoming Legacy Fighting Championship event. LFA 147 is going to be held this Friday, November 18th in the United States.

LFA 147 is the latest mixed martial arts event of the Legacy Fighting Championship. Featuring nine MMA bouts, the cage event is going to be held in Iowa. For the title fight, the event will feature Junior Melo and Melquizael Costa. In addition, a bantamweight bout between Justin Wetzell and Rafael do Nascimento will be held as the co-main event.
The upcoming LFA 147 bout will be Junior Melo and Melquizael Costa’s first face off. They have never fought before against each other. Also, the bout won’t be a title fight.
Junior Melo is a Brazilian mixed martial artist with a professional record of 12-5. This year, he fought twice under LFA’s banner. Surprisingly, Melo won both fights via TKO. Before that, he fought Johntha Guido last year and lost via unanimous decision.
Melquizael Costa is better kown as Melk inside MMA ring. The Brazilian martial artist has a professional record of 18-5. Recently, Costa defeated Tom Santos via TKO at the Presas Combat August event. He also had another bout under LFA. Against Italo Gomes, Costa faced a loss via unanimous decision over 3 rounds.
