India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan have qualified for the Asia Cup Super 4 round. The group stage of the tournament has come to an end with Pakistan beating Hong Kong by a massive margin of 155 runs on Friday. With this victory, Pakistan progressed to the Super Four while India, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan already secured their spots earlier.
In the super four stage, Pakistan will meet their historical rival India for the second time in this tournament on September 4. In their first meet on August 28, India beat Pakistan by 5 wickets.
Earlier in the group stage, the six participating teams were divided into two groups, each consisting of three. India and Afghanistan have qualified as the two group champions as they won all two matches they played. On the other hand, both Pakistan and Sri Lanka qualified, each winning one out of the two matches.
The top two teams from each group advanced to the Super 4 where they will play against each other in the round-robin format. Finally, The top two teams will play the final on September 11 in Dubai.
