UCI just announced to exciting Southwestern European Road cycling events on coming Wednesday for the ongoing ProSeries 2023 season. Here you will find the latest schedule, route, tv, and live stream information on the upcoming Volta ao Algarve.

Volta ao Algarve is a popular Portuguese professional road cycling event. First established in 1960, the event has been a part of the Union Cycliste Internationale’s annual ProSeries cycling league since 2020. It is held every year in February alongside the Andalucia tournament.

The upcoming Volta ao Algarve 2023 is scheduled to kick off this Wednesday. It will mark the 49th official edition of the tournament. 25 teams including the defending champions Quick Step are planned to start at the event.

The Algarve based event will be played over five days, each representing one stage. Perticipants will have to cut through 795 km of road to complete the 5-day race. Majority of stages will feature hilly mountain sections to test participants’ strength and endurance.

The gorgeous southern Portuguese region of Algarve will host the upcoming UCI ProSeries Road cycling event. The competition will be divided in five stages. Race will begin at Portimao city and conclude at Lagoa after five days.
