The Blast Premier is a newly created professional e-sports league for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Based on North America and Europe, the league made its official debut in 2020. Every year, the league holds two major events, one in the spring and one in the fall.
As a follow-up to the Falls Groups 2022 competition, the Blast Premier Fall Showdown will be the European qualifier for the upcoming Spring 2022 Finals. Featuring 8 teams, the event will kick off on upcoming October 19 and run for 5 days.
This year’s Blast Premier will take place online. It is boasting a prize pool of $67,500. The popular British professional CS: GO, host and interviewer, Freya Spiers will be serving as the desk host at the event. With the best of 3 formats, the event will initiate with single elimination bracket rules.
