Being a part of the GAMERS GALAXY series, Gamers Galaxy Invitational Series Thailand is an offline LAN tournament exclusively for teams from Southeast Asia. Here you will know everything about the Gamers Galaxy Invitational Series 2022.
Being co-sponsored by Synnex, MSI, Secret Lab, and True Digital, the tournament will be held from August 18-20 this year.
The fight for the crown will start with eight teams in the group stage. Group A consists of Army Geniuses, BOOM Esports, Polaris Esports, and Talon Esports. Execration, Fnatic, RSG, and Team SMG belong to group B.
The tournament will be a warm-up for the teams before The International 2022 scheduled to take place in October this year.

The Gamers Galaxy Invitational Series 2022 starts on August 18 at 07:15 CEST and end on August 20 with playoffs starting at 05:30 CEST.

Gamers Galaxy Invitational Series 2022 Format:
Eight teams are invited to participate in the Gamers Galaxy Invitational Series Thailand 2022.
- Group Stage
There will be two groups consisting of four teams each. All matches will be Bo1 and played in Single round-robin format. Top two teams from each group will secure places in the playoffs while others will be eliminated.
Tiebreaker rules: Two-way tie: Bo1 and Three-way tie and up: Time-rating.
- Playoffs
The playoffs matches will be played in the Single-elimination bracket. All matches will be Bo3 while the Grand Final will be Bo5.

Where Will The Event Take Place?
The Gamers Galaxy Invitational Series 2022 will take place at the Central Hatyai in Thailand, near the border with Malaysia. The entry will be free of charge for all Dota 2 fans.
