Presented by Ubisoft, the second edition of the Six Major events is set to start tomorrow and run till August 21. Top teams across Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific will participate in the event. The event will take place at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany.
However, the venue will not be open for the public from August 15 to 17 during group stage matches. Audiences will be able to enter the venue to enjoy the event from August 19 when playoffs begin.
Each group consists of 4 teams, and each team will have a unique regional seed. All matches are Bo1 and the top two teams from each group will go through to the playoffs.
The 16 qualified teams have been seeded into four groups and they will play a double round-robin formatted tournament. Among the 16 teams, DWG KIA, SANDBOX Gaming, Elevate, and Gaming Gladiators are from the Asia-Pacific League.
Wolves Esports, Rogue, MNM Gaming, and G2 Esports will appear from the European League. Ninjas in Pyjamas, FaZe Clan, FURIA, and w7m esports are from Latin American League while the North American teams are Astralis, Soniqs, Oxygen Esports, and XSET.
