Bayern Munich Reveals Squad for Champions League 2022-23

Six times winner of UCL, Bayern Munich have revealed their 23-man squad for the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League campaign.

The 68th season of UCL is about to start tonight. Bayern Munich will be facing Inter Milan in their first group stage match on the 8th of September. Similar to previous years, Bayern Munich is considered one of the favorites to win the tournament. Despite the departure of the star forward Robert Lewandowski, The Bavarians are still a super strong team capable of winning against any team in the world.

The squad list is pretty much what everyone expected. Julian Nagelsmann had the liberty to choose 23-25 players with at least eight home-grown players. Four of the eight home-grown players can be association trained, with the rest being needed to be club-trained. This first requirement was easily fulfilled by Bayern as the team already has plenty of association-trained players like Neuer, Goretzka, Kimmich, Gnabry, Choupo-Moting, etc. To fill up the other four spots, FCB has brought the young talent Paul Wanner to the squad along with veteran Thomas Müller, Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, and Josip Stanišić.
