The event has made huge improvements in terms of increasing purse and donation. In the previous season last year, the total purse was the same as it is this year. Players finishing at the top five positions received $180,000, $90,000, $60,000, $45,000 and $38,000 respectively.
The Albertsons Boise Open event donates to charities every year through the Mondelez Rickets Support Charity Program. This time, a $3 million donation has been announced for charity at Hillcrest on Tuesday evening. It sets a new record in Korn Ferry Tour’s 33-year history.
