Format:
Previously, the Aramco Team Series 2022 Sotogrande was played in team format, but this year, it will be played both in team and individual format.
The team tournament will be played in the first two days, where the score of the individual players will be added to their team points. The winner of the team format will be announced after a 36-hole play.
There will be 60 players cut after the 36 holes play, who will be performing for the individual format on the third and final day.
The tournament will be played by 26 teams. The number of the teams has been reduced from 36 to 26 this year. Each of the teams will have three professional players and one amateur. The pro with the highest ranking will serve as the captain.
Aramco Team Series 2022 Sotogrande Purse and Payout:
The total Aramco Team Series 2022 Sotogrande puse is $1 Million. The purse will be split by half, and will be provided equally to the players of the team and individual section.
The purse of the individual format will receive $500,00 and the same amount will be applicable for the individual format.
There will be a total of 5 tournaments in the series, and each of the events will be offering a purse of $1 million, which means the total purse of the series is $5 million.
