Cologuard Classic 2023 Purse:
Cologuard Classic 2023 is the 9th official edition of the popular Tucson-based seniors golf event. It is currently being held under the PGA Tour Champions 2023 season calendar. A total of 78 professional senior golfers is participating in the 3-day event.
The ongoing iteration of Cologuard Classic is featuring a $2.2 million purse pool, with a winner’s share of $330,00. It is a massive jump from the 2022 edition’s $1.8 million prize pool. As a result, the winner’s share is getting a decent $30,000 raise. As the defending champion Miguel Jimenez received $270,000 in 2022.
Prize amount of $193,600 and $158,400 are listed respectively for the second and third position of ongoing 2023 event. In contrast, participants of the same standings received $144,000 and $108,000 respectively.
As the event is a shotgun competition without any cut requirement, all 78 participants will receive a share of the purse pool based on their final standing positions. Therefore, the final position holder is set to earn $1,100. Whereas, last year’s T78th position holders Stephen Dodd and Roger Rowland received only $864.
