The Dana Open 2022 Purse is set to be $1,750,000, with the winner of the tournament receiving $262,500. The winner’s share is 15% of the total purse in accordance with the LPGA Tour’s prize money distribution chart.
Unlike many other LPGA tournaments this year, the purse of the 2022 Dana Open decreased this year. In 2021, the purse was $2 million, while the winner, Nasa Hataoka, was awarded $300,000 for herself.
Therefore, compared to last year, the purse decreased by $250,000 million. The winner of the event will also receive a payout of $37,500 less.
Besides the lucrative prize money, there are added benefits to performing well in the tournament. The winner of the tournament will be awarded 500 points toward the Race to the CME Globe.
Not all the players are eligible for a share of the prize money. The top 70 players who make the cut will receive a payout. The runner-up will get $162,834, while the 70th-placed golfer takes home an amount of $3,567.
