Dana Open 2022 is a professional golf tournament currently underway at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio, U.S.A. The 4-day long tournament is scheduled to come to a conclusion on September 4.  Here you will get to know about the purse, payout, and prize money breakdown of the Dana Open 2022.

Established in 1984, Dana Open Presented By Marathon is a part of the LPGA tour and is the 24th event of the 2022 season. This year marks the 37th edition of this 72-hole professional women’s golf event.



Dana Open has appealed to top golfers throughout its history. We observe the same this year as 30 of the top 50 players have arrived in Ohio and are currently teeing it off at the golf course of Highland Meadows.  

The field is of 144 players and is headlined by Brooke Henderson, Minjee Lee, Lydia Ko along with five other top 10 players. The defending champion, Nasa Hataoka is also among the field.

Dana Open 2022 Purse and Payout:

The Dana Open 2022 Purse is set to be $1,750,000, with the winner of the tournament receiving $262,500. The winner’s share is 15% of the total purse in accordance with the  LPGA Tour’s prize money distribution chart.

Unlike many other LPGA tournaments this year, the purse of the 2022 Dana Open decreased this year. In 2021, the purse was $2 million, while the winner, Nasa Hataoka, was awarded $300,000 for herself.

Therefore, compared to last year, the purse decreased by $250,000 million. The winner of the event will also receive a payout of $37,500 less.

Besides the lucrative prize money, there are added benefits to performing well in the tournament. The winner of the tournament will be awarded 500 points toward the Race to the CME Globe.



Not all the players are eligible for a share of the prize money. The top 70 players who make the cut will receive a payout. The runner-up will get $162,834, while the 70th-placed golfer takes home an amount of $3,567.
