The DIO Implant LA Open is a popular women’s professional golf tournament based on Los Angeles. The event was established in 2018 as the Hugel-JTBC LA Open, under the LPGA Tour’s annual calendar. Later it was renamed as a part of the new sponsorship contract.
The upcoming edition of the event will mark its 5th official year of running. It is set to feature a 144-player field for the initial two rounds this year. They will be competing for a share of the $1.75 million purse pool with the winner’s share of $262,500.
Like previous iterations, it will be a four-round based event played on a standard 72-par stroke play format. Six of the current top-10 Rolex Rankings are ready to participate in the event. Fan-favorite female golfers like Lydia Ko, Nelly Kroda, In Gae Chun and the defending champion Nasa Hataoka will start at the event this year.
