Farmers Insurance Open 2023 Purse:
Farmers Insurance Open 2023 is the 71st iteration of the event since its debut in 1952. It is currently held under PGA’s authorization on their PGA Tour.
Organizers at the ongoing Farmers Insurance Open announced an $8.4 million purse pool for this year. From this, the winner will have $1.512 million as the reward for his victory.
As the event is featuring the same prize money amount as 2022, there will be no difference between last year’s and the current iteration’s prize distribution.
The runner-up at Farmers Insurance Open 2023 is set to earn $948,300. While the person behind the runner-up at the leaderboard, aka 3rd placed participant, will receive $600,300 upon the event’s completion.
The event features a massive 156-player field. However, only the top 65 to make a 36 cut during the initial two rounds will qualify for the following two rounds. In addition, players to successfully make a cut in the event will get a share from the prize pool.
According to official announcement, the last 3 positioned players will receive a prize check of $19,053, $18,879, and $18,705 respectively. That being the 63rd, 64th, and 65th position players as per the event’s rules.
