Last Thursday, the 2023 LPGA Tour calendar debuted with the latest Tournament of Champions in Florida. Here you will find the latest details on purse and prize distribution of the ongoing LPGA Tour event.
Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions 2023 Purse:
Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions is the calendar opening event of LPGA Tour’s 2023 season. The event initiated last Saturday in Florida with 30 professional female golfers.
The event is featuring a $1.5 million purse pool this year. The purse pool and distribution portions will be same as last year.
The purse pool will be distributed among the 29 participants of the event based on their final round standings. The event champion will receive 15% of the purse pool as a reward.
As per official announcement, the titleholder of the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions 2023 will receive $225,000 as reward. It is the same amount as the defending champion Danielle Kang received in 2022. While the runner-up is set to receive $177,229.
The low standings will also receive payment from the purse pool. 27th placement holder will be given, $17,174. Following him, 28th and 29th placed competitors will receive $16,495, and $15,816 respectively. These amounts too seem to be the same as 2022.
