HomeTown Lenders Championship 2023 Purse:
The ongoing 3rd edition of the HomeTown Lenders Championship is featuring a $1 million purse pool with a Korn Ferry Tour standard 18% winner’s share. This amounts to $180,000 prize money for first place.
The field is featuring 144 professional golfers. However, only the top 65 participants to make a cut and be present in the final leaderboard will receive a share of this $1 million purse pool.
In addition to the prize share, the winner of the event will earn an additional 500 Korn Ferry Tour points and 12.6 OWGR rank points alongside the $180,000 prize pool.
The previous edition, titled “Huntsville Championship 2022” featured a $750,000 prize pool and a winner’s share of $135,000. This marks an excellent raise of $250,000 in the total purse pool this year. Which is a welcoming addition to the tournament.
As a result of the prize increment, every position this year will see a favorable increment in their reward amount based on standings. The runner-up’s reward will increase from $67,500 to $90,000. Even the final position holder, the 65th participant’s purse share will increase from last year’s $3,000 to $4,000 this year.
