The Colombia Championship is a professional golf event held under the Korn Ferry Tour event. The event has been running annually since its establishment in 2010. Following a new sponsorship deal in 2022, organizers officially renamed the event as “Astara Golf Championship.”
The latest iteration of the Astara Golf Championship is scheduled to begin this Thursday, February 9, 2023. It will be the 13th official edition of the event, as the 2021 iteration was canceled due to covid pandemic. The 2023 event will be held at the Colombian course at Country Club de Bogota like in previous years.
The upcoming Astara Golf Championship will be a stroke play event. It will be played on 71 par in both the main and paco course of the Bogota-based club. The event features a $1 million purse this year. A 132-player field will be featured during the initial two rounds of the event.
