Established in 1952, the Travelers Championship is a long-running professional men’s golf tournament. It is held annually at the TPC River Highlands course in Connecticut. At present, the event is a part of the PGA Tour.
Upcoming Travelers Championship 2023 will mark its 73rd annual run. Organizers have announced a $20 million purse for the 156-player field this year. The winner’s share is $3.6 million. This marks a major improvement over the previous year’s $8.3 million prize pool.
The competition will maintain a 70-par-based stroke play format. Additionally, it will be played on 18 holes each, over the span of four rounds. Tickets are currently available on Ticketmaster. First two round tickets cost $88. Meanwhile, later two rounds’ cost $93.
