Following an excellent tournament in Oman, the international series of ongoing 2023 Asian tour is going to Qatar for the upcoming Thursday golf event.

The International Series is a collection of international level golf events under the Asian Tour calendar. The series has been a successful addition to the tour since its establishment in 2022. However, unlike last year’s 6 events, the 2023 International Series has cut down the event number to 4.
The inaugural iteration of International Series Qatar 2023 will mark the first inclusion of Qatar within the Asian Tour venue collection. Moreover, it will be the 2nd event of the ongoing series. Organizers have announced a staggering $2.5 million prize fund for the inaugural edition of the tournament.
132 professional Asian Tour and LIV Golf competitors will participate in the initial two rounds of the event this year. It will maintain a standard 72-par stroke play format, which will be played for four rounds over four days. The event will be held at a popular Doha based golf course.

The first edition of International Series Qatar is announced to initiate this Thursday, February 16, 2023. Players will tee-off for the first round at 10:20 a.m. ET/ 06:20 a.m. AST starting the competition.

International Series Qatar 2023 Tee Times:
Like all international series events, the first Qatari Asian Tour tournament will be played for four days. Players will be divided into groups of 3 to participate in the first two rounds. In the first round Matt Killen, John Lyras, and El Mehdi Fakori will team up to tee-off at 10:20 a.m. ET at hole no#1 initiating the event. At the same time, Othman Almullah, Nicholas Fung, and Sutepatt Prateeptienchai will tee-off at hole no#10.
