Founded in 2021, the LIV Golf is a brand-new professional golf tour. It was financed by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia. Following its establishment, the tour organized 8 official events with skyrocketing success.

Upcoming LIV Golf 2023 will be the second season of the Saudi Arabian tour. However, within one season the event count has been increased from 8 to 14. Additionally, the complete purse pool of the season has also been pushed from $225 million to a whopping $405 million.

Thanks to LIV Golf’s purse size, the event quickly generated a good participant list from all side of the world. Popular world-class golfers like Cameron Smith, Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood and plenty more professionals have left officially PGA and DP World Tour to join the new middle eastern series.

The latest season of LIV Golf will begin on February 24 with the Mexican event LIV Golf Mayakoba. After 17 individual events throughout the year, it will conclude on November 5^th with a team championship event in Saudi Arabia titled LIV Golf Jeddah like last year.
