Now the Saudi-backed and Greg-Norman-led tour heads to Bangkok, with the tournament starting on the 7th of October at the Stonehill Golf Course. The field is of 48 players, and 13 of them are ranked in the top 50. Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Joaquin Niemann, and Bryson DeChambeau are among the many top golfers who will tee off this Thursday to get themselves a share of the massive purse of $25 million.
The highest-ranked player on the field is World No. 2, Cameron Smith. Smith won the last LIV event in Chicago. The Aussie will look to repeat the feat here in Bangkok.
Such a strong field is bound to offer us a weekend of exciting golf. All five previous editions had different winners. It will be interesting to see if we get to see a player rack up his 2nd win in the invitational series. There is added interest to this tournament as it marks the first time a LIV event is getting played under the banner of the MENA Tour.

As of now, LIV Golf will not be broadcasted on any TV Channels.
With most of the leading TV networks like ESPN, NBC, and CBS signed up with the PGA Tour, the only option left for LIV was FOX. However, following FOX’s disinterest to broadcast the sport, the Greg Norman-led tour decided to not sell its TV rights for the 2022 season.
