It is the final individual tournament of the inaugural 2021-22 LIV Golf Tour season. The invitational event started on October 14, 2022, and will end on upcoming October 16, 2022.
The LIV Golf is a new Saudi-financed golf tour that was founded in 2021. Since its debut, the event has hosted 6 invitational golf events throughout the UK, USA, and Thailand. In addition to that, the tour has garnered a lot of attraction due to various reasons. Its ongoing event, the LIV Golf invitational Jeddah is its first Saudi Arabia-hosted event.
LIV Golf Jeddah is currently being hosted at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in Jeddah. A total of 48 golfers have participated in to fight for the final individual title of LIV Golf’s inaugural season. Popular ex-PGA Competitors like Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, and Patrick Reed have also made their way to the ongoing event.

LIV Golf Jeddah 2022 Purse:
The total LIV Golf Jeddah 2022 Purse is $25 million. Among these, $20 million will be distributed to the individual placement and $5 million will be distributed to the first 3 teams. The amount is massive considering this is the event’s inaugural iteration. Surprisingly, every event in this LIV Golf Tour season listed the same amount of purse money.
The winner of the ongoing event will receive prize money of $4 million. While the runner-up will get $2.125 million as prize money. Additionally, prize money of $1.5 million is listed for the 3rd position holder.
All of the 48 participants are set to receive a portion of the individuals’ $20 million prize pool. In addition, the first standing team on the leaderboard will receive a reward of $3 million. At the same time, the second and third-placed teams will receive a bonus of $1.5 million and $500,000 respectively.
