New Zealand PGA Championship is a professional golf tournament held in Australia. It is currently held under the authorization of the PGA Tour of Australasia in their annual calendar. The competition is also one of the oldest events of the tour.
This year will mark the 87th edition of the competition. It was established in 1909 and has been running fairly regularly. However, last year the event was canceled due to covid-19.
The 2023 edition of the Auckland-based competition will feature NZ$150,000 as a prize pool. The event will maintain a four-round stroke play format gameplay over the span of four days.
The field in New Zealand will feature 111 professional golf players on the first day. Kazuma Kobori, the champion of the 2021 event will participate this year to defend his title.

New Zealand PGA Championship 2023 Tee Times:
The 111-player field will be divided into groups of 3 for the first-day draw. Two groups will start simultaneously in holes 1 and 10. Conor Knight, Will Florimo, and Frazer Bond will group up for hole no.1 and William Bruyeres, Rodney Hume, and Brian Lee will group up for hole no 10. These two groups will tee off at 08:00 a.m. NZDT or 02:00 p.m. ET as the first batch of round one.
