Principal Charity Classic is a senior’s professional golf tournament based on Iowa. The event was established in 2001 and is a fairly newer addition to PGA Tour Champions colander.
The upcoming Principal Charity Classic 2023 will be the 22nd annual edition of the tournament. Like previous years, it will take place at the Wakonda Club golf field in Des Moines, Iowa.
The event will maintain a 72-par stroke play-based competition. It will be a three-round long event, over the span of 3 days. A total of 75 professional senior golfers will be present in the field for a share of the $2 million prize pool this week.
