Soudal Open 2023 Purse:
Belgian Open, or currently known as Soudal Open is a popular Belgian professional golf event. It is held annually as a part of the European Tour calendar. This year’s event will feature a 156-player field on the opening day of May 11. Fans are excited to see some of the best golfers such as Marcel Siem, Yannik Paul, Jordan Smith, and many more compete in the event.
Soudal Open 2023 purse will be $2 million with a winner’s share of $340,000. As such, there will be very subtle change in individual purse distribution. Only the top-65 participants to make a 36-hole cut will receive a share of the purse pool based on their final standings. The event will also distribute a total of 2,750 Race to Dubai points among the complete field.
Winner of the event will be awarded with 20 OWGR points, and a two-season exemption on European Tour. Winner’s purse of the 2023 event have seen a modest $6,670 increment. As the previous winner, Sam Horsfield received $333,330 coming champion in 2022. Meanwhile, the runner-up’s purse has been decreased from last year’s $222,220 to $220,000 this year.
Distribution of the majority of the remaining purses will remain unchanged. For example, third-place holder will receive $125,200 which is exactly the same amount as provided in 2022 event. Also, final three of the standings – 63rd, 64th, and 65th positioned players will receive $5,200, $5,000, and $5,000 respectively.
