The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic is a relatively new golf competition. It is a part of the Korn Ferry Tour under PGA’s authorization. Along with the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic, it was established in January of 2017.
The event has been running annually since its inauguration. Upcoming 2023 event will be the 6th official iteration of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic. The tournament maintains a stroke play format over 72 par.
According to the officials, this year’s iteration is featuring $1 million prize pool. Additionally, the event will feature a 132-player field. Defending champion, Brandon Harkins is also set to participate in the event to defend his 2022 title.

For the first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic 2023, players will be divided into groups of 3 participants. Players will tee-off simultaneously at hole no.1 and hole no.10. Brett Drewitt, John VanDerLaan, and Tain Lee will tee-off at 06:55 p.m. in hole no.1. While Daniel Summerhays, Richard Jung, and Mac Meissner will tee-off in hole no.10 at the same time.
