The Chevron Championship is a popular professional women’s golf competition. Established in 1972, the event has been running annually under the yearly LPGA Tour calendar. Currently, Chevron Corporation is the major sponsor of the event.
This year will mark the 52nd official edition of the long-running LPGA event. It will take place in Texas like in previous years. The tournament will maintain a stroke play format over 72-par.
A total of 132 professional female golfers will compete in the upcoming event. It will feature a $5.1 million prize pool with a winner’s share of $765,000. Defending champion, Jennifer Kupcho will be present to defend her 2022 title.
