The Masters 2023 is the upcoming 87th edition of the popular major championship in professional golf. It is an annual event that is held within the first week of April. The organizers have announced a $15 million purse with a $2.7 million winner’s share for the competition.
The latest iteration of the fan-favorite major golf event is scheduled to get underway at Augusta National Golf club on April 6. The event will be a standard four-round stroke play competition over 72 par.
Only the best professionals of the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and the Japan Golf Tour qualify for the event through their skills and effort all around the season. A total of 88 professional golfers earned invitations to the upcoming event.
Most of the current top 50 OWGR-ranking golfers will be present at the event. Furthermore, 18 LIV Golf participants will be seen competing in the field this year. From Rory McIlroy to Tiger Woods, the event will be filled with fan favorites and top-class professionals this year.
