Vusi Ngubeni Tournament is a popular South African professional golf tournament. It was launched in the 2021-22 season as the season-ending championship of the 22nd Sunshine Tour. Like previous years, the tournament will mark the final event of the individual season competition of this popular South African golf tour.
The tournament is officially titled “Altron Vusi Ngubeni Tournament 2023.” Like last year, it will be held at the Modderfontein Golf Course in Gauteng. The competition will be a standard stroke play tournament over 72 par. The 18-hole-based event is held for four rounds over the span of four days.
The upcoming South African tournament will feature a 95-player field during the first round. However, only the top-65 to cut will be qualified to advance to the third round and a share of the purse. This year, the event will feature an R100,000 purse, roughly $54,600 or €50,000.
