Women’s Scottish Open 2022 Purse and Payout:
The Ladies European Tour (LET) announced the Women’s Scottish Open 2022 Purse to be $2 million. The winner will receive the standard 15% of the overall purse which amounts to 300,000 Us Dollars.
Last year, in 2021, the purse for the same tournament was $1.5 million while the winner, Ryann O’Toole received $225,000. Along with many other tournaments on the women’s circuit, the Scottish Open also increased its purse for this year. This year’s edition has a purse of $500,000 more with the winner getting an extra $75,000.
There are other incentives to win the event. The winner will be awarded 500 points in the Race to the CME Globe standings. The top 60 players in the final standings compete in the CME Globe Tour Championship, the season’s last event, for a $1.5 million reward.
To be eligible for a share of the Women’s Scottish Open 2022 Purse, a participant needs to place in the top 70. The 1st and 2nd runner-ups will receive $186,096 and $135,000 respectively while the 70th placed participant gets $4,076 from the overall Women’s Scottish Open purse.
