The 2022 IHF Men’s Super Globe will be the 16th edition of the annual event. In 2018, it was moved to Saudi Arabia for four years. As such, the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation will be the event organizer once again.
A total of 12 teams will be participating in the event. Among them, 10 clubs will be from different countries. From Saudi, two different teams will be participating in the event. They are – Mudhar F.C., Khaleej Club.
The previous iteration of the event was held in 2021. It was held in Jeddah, the same city as this year. Unfortunately, the 2020 IHF Men’s Super Globe championship was canceled due to covid-19.
The German club, SC Magdeburg was the champion in the 2021 edition of the event. It was their first title in the competition. FC Barcelona, the popular Spanish club, holds the most titles in the event, with five in their bag at present.

The IHF Men’s Super Globe is set to kick off on upcoming Tuesday, October 15, 2022. The event is scheduled to run till October 23, 2022. The first preliminary round match between Taubaté and Al-Kuwait will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET.
