Judo Grand Slam Tokyo is the international premier judo competition. It is held in judo’s origin country Japan, under the authorization of the International Judo Federation (IJF). The event is a part of the World Tour Grand Slam series.
Following a two-year absence, the Judo Grand Slam Japan event has been announced once again. After five years of absence, the event will be held in Tokyo again this year. The event will feature competitions on both men’s and women’s discipline.
A purse pool of €154,000 has been officially announced for this year’s Grand Slam Tokyo. Over 250 judokas from 48 different nations will be participating in the prestigious judo competition.
