Malaysia Open 2022: Men’s Draw, Schedule, How to Watch and Prize Money

One of the top badminton tournaments in the world, Malaysia Open 2022 is going to take place from June 28 to July 3 at the Axiata Arena. This is a super 750 event and the 12th edition of the tournament. Here, you will know all the necessary knowledge about the event.

Men’s Draw:

Viktor Axelsen is the top seed in the tournament. The world’s number 1 is placed in the top half of the draw. He will be playing against Leverdez in his match in the first round.

Second seed K Momota is placed in the bottom half of the draw. In his first match, he will face Wangcharoen. Chou Tien-Chen, the number 3 seed is in section 2 of the top half.

Lee Zii Jia is placed in the bottom half, which means there is a chance of his meeting up with Momota in the quarter-final of the Malaysia Open 2022. He will face the Nguyen in the first-round draw.

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, the fifth seed is placed in section 1 of the top half. His possible opponent for the quarter-final is Viktor Axelsen.

Jonatan Christie will be able to meet Chou if he manages to beat S Verma in the first round and his next opponent in the second.
