Keegan Murray named MVP of NBA 2k23 Summer League 2022

Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray has been named the Most Valuable
Player (MVP) of NBA 2K23 Summer League 2022, according to an official tweet
from the NBA.

Murray’s been noticed to be one of the most consistent performers in this
league. He averaged 23.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals while
shooting 50% from the field and 40% from 3-point range in four games in Las
Vegas. Murray’s ability to score inside and stretch the floor with his 3-point
shooting makes him a versatile rookie for the Sacramento Kings. His relentless
efforts now paid off with the crown of the Most Valuable Player.

Murray started all four games he appeared in at Summer League, averaging
23.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.9 minutes per game. He
also made three appearances during the 2022 California Classic Summer
League, accruing averages of 19.7 points and 8 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per
game.

That’s not all. In addition to being named Summer League MVP, Keegan
Murray has been named to the NBA 2K23 All-Summer League First Team. The
the group also includes Tari Eason (Houston Rockets), Quentin Grimes (New York
Knicks), Sandro Mamukelashvili (Milwaukee Bucks), and Cam Thomas
(Brooklyn Nets).
