Zellsis has been a part of the V1 roster since early 2021. He found considerable success in the team helping V1 to come 2nd in the VCT 2021 stage 2 challenger finals, which, in turn, helped them qualify for the 2nd masters of the year.
However, since the Reykjavík 2021, V1 has been struggling with its form. They had a poor run in the entire 2022 season and failed to qualify even in the NA LCQ.
On the 12th of July this year, Zellsis signed up with Sentinels on a loan to play in the Last Chance Qualifier. Zellsis, teaming up with some of the biggest names in the esports scene like shroud, tenz, and Shahzam, built a dream roster with huge attention from the fans. Although the 25-year-old flex player and his team did have some massive moments in the tournament, they got knocked out of the tournament losing to the eventual winner 100 Thieves in the lower bracket.

With the end of the LCQ, questions regarding the future of Zellsis lingered in the pro scene. It was unsure whether he would continue with Sentinels or join another team.
After almost a month of speculations, Version 1 confirmed in a post from their official Twitter Handle on the 31st of August that Zellsis is set to return to his former team.
Montemurro is one of the most fan-favorite pros in the NA Val scene for quite some time now due to his humorous and candid character. He streams regularly on his twitch channel, where he averages a viewership of almost 6000. It will be interesting to see Zellsis compete in the 2023 season for V1 alongside his former teammates.
