Arizona Gets $600 Million for Hosting Super Bowl 2023

The biggest game of the year is here, as Philadelphia Eagles are ready to meet Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl 2023. The game will be hosted in the State Farm Stadium, which is situated in Glendale, Arizona. As the host city, Arizona is expected to get as high as $600 million from the biggest game of the NFL.

Superbowl makes many impacts on the host cities every year, the biggest of them being financial. Each year, the host cities get revenue from hotel bookings, stadium tickets, tax, and other expenses from the visitors. This increases the financial growth of the host cities in a good way.

If we look at the previous years, in 2022, Los Angels made close to $450 from the Super Bowl annual event. There was an effect of COVID-19 in last year’s tournament, but this year, the fans will enjoy the event in full force. Florida made $572m by hosting the event of 2020.

Arizona has always been a great city to host the Super Bowl. The last time, the event was hosted there in 2015, the city made a record $720m from the event. It is expected that 6000+ temporary job opportunities will be opened for this year’s Super Bowl. The financial scale of the city will rise again if the expectation is met.
