Dakar Rally 2023 is going live early this year with the Saudi Arabian event ready to initiate on New Year’s Eve.

The Dakar Rally or “The Dakar” is the popular annual rally raid event. Founded in 1979, the event has been hosting in Saudi Arabia since 2020. It is the calendar opening event of the World Rally-Raid Championship.
2023 Dakar Rally will be the first FIA & FIM Rally Raid event of this year. It will be held by the Amuay Sports Organization in Saudi Arabia and will be counted the first round of 2023 World Rally-Raid Championship.
This iteration of Dakar Rally will contain 14 different Stages. Stages will contain 7 different vehicles. These are –

When will be Dakar Rally 2023 held?
- Start Date: December 31, 2022
- End Date: January 15, 2023
- Time: 6:30 p.m. ET
The Dakar Rally 2023 will begin this December 31, 2022 with the prologue event. While the first stage of this year’s tournament is scheduled for January 1, 2023. Stage 1 will be at Sea Camp and will initiate around 06:30 p.m. ET.
Where will the event be held?
- Location: Saudi Arabia
This year’s Dakar Rally will be held in Saudi Arabia like previous few years. The 14 stages will be hosted in 14 different locations. Races of stage 1 will begin near the Sea Camp in Yanbu. And the 14th stage will end near Dammam city in the eastern province.
