With just two rounds left on the calendar, the 2022 Formula One World Championship is swiftly drawing to an end. The upcoming Sao Paulo GP 2022 on November 13th will be another crucial step toward the conclusion of this season.

Sao Paulo Grand Prix is one of the oldest Formula One championship race. It was first held in 1972. The event has been held yearly since it began, with the exception of 2020 due to covid epidemic.

The inaugural edition of the competition was a test run arranged by the FIA. After a successful run, it was incorporated into the widely prestigious Formula One World Championship the following year.

The 2022 edition will be the 50th official iteration of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. It will be held in Interlagos as a 71-lap event like every year. Previously, British racing driver Lewis Hamilton became the champion of the 2021 event as a part of the Mercedes team. This year’s official event title is “Formula 1 Heineken Grande Premio de Sao Paulo 2022.”
